Draft Day #3

There are loads of rumors and talks going on apparently in the NHL right now over players (signings and trades).
A few that have caught my attention are:
A rumor that Milan Lucic would waive his NTC to go to Vancouver (local boy) if the chance came up.  But Vancouver is 1 of 15 teams apparently on his list.
A rumor that Alex Burmistrov can and will be brought back by the Winnipeg Jets after July first (reported by Darren Dreger) but the question would remain do you trust him and keep him or trade him off?

The Los Angeles Kings have re-signed Tyler Toffoli to a 2 year contract worth $6.5M.  $2.6M the first year and then $3.9M the second.  A good bridge contract for a good young player.  He has shown that he can perform in the NHL so this is a good deal.

The Detroit Red Wings have re-signed Joakim Andersson to a 1 year $815K deal.  Andersson was a pending RFA so this is nice for him to have this signed.

One other signing that is of note, Dallas Eakins has been hired/signed on to coach the AHL's San Diego Gulls (Anaheim's affiliate) where he will take the head coach job for the upcoming season.  This is also in a new division in the AHL.

Those are some of the notes that I thought could be of some impact since the last post.

Thanks for reading.

And if you haven't seen it yet, there is a graphic floating around on twitter of how many picks each team has in this years entry draft (before trades).  Quite interesting.
